How much does a move with Leaf Moving cost?

 

We are a flat rate based company, Our rates start at $120/hr but the cost of a move is dependent on many factors: amount of time, supplies needed, distance, and manpower involved. Do you do long-distance moves?

 

Here at Leaf Moving  we also specialize in long-distance moves anywhere in the United States. So whether you are moving from Dallas to New York, Chicago to Denver, or anywhere in between, we’ve got you covered.

Moving companies are not always looked upon highly and with good reason. In this day and age where anyone can put up an ad on Craigslist and call themselves a “mover”, too often we see people end up using moving companies that show no respect for their home or belongings. Will my belongings be covered while they are being moved?

 

Moving companies provide extended coverage plan your items at a rate of $0.60 per pound.  This is the industry standard, and required offering by every moving company. At Leaf we do things a bit different by fully covering any damages that occur on your move.  

 

Do you sell packing materials?

 

Leaf Moving and Storage offers a full selection of specialty boxes and packing material available for purchase. For your convenience, we provide shrink wrap and blankets free of charge to use during your move. If you would like to purchase any of these items, please call us at least 1 week in advance to schedule a delivery. 

 

Do you do same-day or next-day moves?

 

Yes, we do both same-day and next-day local and statewide moves. Please contact us for details.

Commercial Moving FAQ’s

 

What sizes of commercial moves can you handle?

 

Leaf Moving can perform commercial moves of all sizes, including offices, warehouses, medical facilities, and manufacturing sites.

 

How will you protect my computers and other valuable equipment?

 

Leaf Moving offers complimentary shrink wrapping and padding of your equipment, providing the maximum in protection and moisture resistance. If you have any equipment you have special concerns about, please discuss it during your estimate. In the occasion that there are any items that your moving crew feel need special attention, they will inform you and recommend appropriate action.

 

What precautions should be taken to move specialized office equipment?

 

For items requiring special attention, you should check with the supplier for assistance in determining how to prepare the items for moving. Some specialty items include copiers, servers, and manufacturing equipment.

 

Will you provide packing materials for my commercial move?

 

Leaf Moving offers a full selection of specialty boxes and packing material for commercial moves. Please call us at least 1 week in advance to schedule a delivery of these materials.

 

Do you provide packing and unpacking services?

 

We offer complete packing and unpacking services for your commercial move with specially trained crews experience in moving commercial equipment.
